B.A. History
With a 25-year gap between my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I understand what being a non-traditional student is about. As I pursued my graduate degree, I worked a full-time job, a part-time job, and raised 2 children as a single parent. I can relate to students who are juggling multiple responsibilities while trying to finish their education. My career path has been a winding road of experiences in retail, legal, association management, banking, accounting, education, to owning my own business. I draw upon these experiences along with my 14 years in Career Services, 10 at the USC Law School and 4 with Mercer, to assist students in making smart career decisions. Betsy is past President of the Georgia Career Development Association (GCDA).
